I wanted to say thank you to all of my fans, who continue to send emails and well wishes to this day. I have, and will always, sincerely appreciate your support.
I have decided, after a long and very rewarding career, to retire and enjoy life from the sidelines for a change. While I will still play an occasional private event or party, I am looking forward to lounging about the Hill Country for the most part. I am looking forward to many years of relaxing, traveling and visiting with my wife, my children and my grandchildren.

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your performance at the Mary Wilson concert last weekend.
I had heard about you, and you lived up to what everybody said - you're a terrific showman.
My friend, a musician named Jimmy McCartney, also was impressed by your command of the stage.
We're planning on bringing our wives out to see your show at Maloney's in the near future.
